Background and Education

Ms. Bundy obtained her law degree from the University of Michigan, graduating Cum Laude in 2016. During law school, she concentrated her efforts on human rights and refugee law and served as Executive Editor on the Michigan Journal of International Law. In addition to teaching as a Graduate Student Instructor for an undergraduate course on Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, she also served as a teaching assistant for a first-year legal research and writing course and participated in the Seventh Colloquium of Refugee Law, which produced the Michigan Guidelines on Risk for Reasons of Political Opinion. During her summer months, Ms. Bundy interned at human rights organizations in Tel Aviv, Israel; Phnom Penh, Cambodia; and Quito, Ecuador.

EXPERIENCE

Following her graduation, Ms. Bundy served as Senior Legal Research Associate to Professor James C. Hathaway to assist in publishing a second edition of his treatise, The Rights of Refugees under International Law. She also completed research for Professor Howard Bromberg for the 2017 publication of Marijuana Law in a Nutshell as part of West Academic’s Nutshell series. 

 

Ms. Bundy’s practice includes business immigration matters, including H-1B Specialized Workers, L-1 Intra-Company Transferees, Trade NAFTA/USMCA Professionals, and Business Visitors, as well as employment-based Adjustment of Status applications and National Interest Exceptions (NIEs). Ms. Bundy has also handled a range of family-related and individual matters, including fiancé visas, Adjustment Applications for spouses and family members, applications for naturalization, and relief for individuals placed in removal proceedings. 

 

Ms. Bundy has been with the firm since 2018. She is admitted to practice in New York and speaks advanced Spanish.

Distinctions earned during Ms. Bundy’s law school years include the First-Year Legal Practice Award for Best Appellate Brief; a Certificate of Merit Award in International Investment Law; the Jack C. Radcliffe, Jr. Award for Excellence in the Legal Practice Mentoring Program; and the S. Anthony Benton Memorial Award for Excellence in International Law. Ms. Bundy also served on the Executive Board of the Michigan Journal of International Law and penned an article featured therein, Rescuing Policy and Terror Victims: A Concerted Approach to the Ransom Dilemma (2016).
