李昕原 (Sam) 律师出生于中国大陆，2012年来到美国，在七年的时间里攻读并完成了国际研究-国际关系专业本科和法学博士(Juris Doctor – J.D.) 学业。目前拥有美国华盛顿特区律师执业资格。
Sam于2016年以最高荣誉的优异成绩在美利坚大学国际关系学院 (American University School of International Service) 获得了国际研究-国际关系本科学士学位。在美国的本科经历结合其个人的国际文化及生活背景，培养了Sam多元化的意识形态，使其形成了善良、博爱、包容的价值观，具备了跨国际文化沟通的能力。这段本科学习经历对Sam未来的律师工作产生了深远的影响。
Sam 于 2019 年在乔治华盛顿大学大法学院 (The George Washington University Law School) 获得法学博士学位，主修美国移民法。攻读期间曾获得瑟古德·马歇尔 (Thurgood Marshall) 学者和公益代理银奖的荣誉。
从2018 年夏季至秋季，Sam在乔治华盛顿大学大法学院移民法律公益诊所实习，在执业律师的指导下以学生律师的身份为客户办理案件相关事宜。2019年在法官埃里克·P·克里斯蒂安 (Erik P. Christian) 的分庭进行实习。
Sam是美国移民律师协会和密歇根州亚太美国律师协会的现任成员 (American Immigration Lawyers Association) & (Michigan Asian Pacific American Bar Association) 。Sam自2019年加入本所以来，主要专注于企业和商业移民签证事务 (包括：H-1B 专业技术人员非移民签证，L-1跨国高管和专业知识人员非移民签证，O-1杰出人才非移民签证， PERM劳工认证移民许可，墨西哥和加拿大 TN 专业人士非移民签证，Q-1和J-1 文化交流及培训者非移民签证)。同时，Sam还专注于EB-1 (杰出人才、杰出教授和研究员、跨国高管)，EB-2以及国家利益豁免(NIW)，EB-3移民代理申请，以及各类与就业和企业赞助相关的绿卡申请。
